Matthew Shook Obituary
Born on October 18, 1993 in Frederick he was the son of Steven A. and Kim Fuss Shook of Adamstown.
He was a 2012 graduate of Tuscarora High School and was currently attending Frederick Community College.
Baseball was a big part of Matthew's life. He played with the American Legion Post #11 and the Montgomery Germantown Community College and went to the World series last year in Texas. He enjoyed four wheeling, dirt bikes, fishing, hunting and video games. He was actively involved in New Life Foursquare Church. He loved his dogs Chloe, Abbie and Bandit.
Surviving in addition to his parents are siblings; Andrew M. Tomalewski of Frederick, Evan Shook and girlfriend Dana of Harpers Ferry, WV and Dana Shook and boyfriend Brent Knott also of Harpers Ferry, WV. Nephew Christopher Wilk and niece Jordan Shook. Maternal grandparents Lloyd and Gwen Fuss of Frederick and Paternal grandparents Arthur and Jennifer June Shook of Adamstown. Aunts and uncle, Karen Fuss Ruwet and husband John, Debi Myers and husband Clint and David Fuss and wife Christy. Also survived by many cousins. He will be remembered by his special friends Jessie Spicer, Brandon McNeil and Derek Graham.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Services beginning at 1 p.m. at the New Life Foursquare Church, 5913 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Interment will be private.
The family request that in lieu of flower memorial contributions in Matthew's name be made to the education fund for his nephew Christopher Wilk, who Matthew loved dearly, in care of Kim Shook, 5907 Laurel Court, Adamstown, MD 21710.
