Dear Goforth family, I just want to say how sorry I am about your untimely great loss of Chris. I graduated with him in 1972 from BGSHS, & I remember Mrs. Joyce Goforth teaching at BG Elementary. Chris was among the brightest & best in high school. Not only was he intelligent & a fine student, he was a stellar athlete as well. He was always modest about his talents & abilities as I remember. Everyone knew then he would be highly successful & attend a fine university like U of R. Again, my deepest sympathy to the entire family for the great loss of your dear Chris. I will be praying for all of you & thinking of you. Take care of yourself & each other during this very difficult time. Linda

I´m so sorry to read of the passing of Chris. He was a great guy to work with on occasion at VDOT. I was at the Fredericksburg District and he would come up to meeting and such and was very helpful. I know he must be in Heaven with his Dad looking down on the family. I´m very sorry for your loss. I Pray that God give you Peace and understanding.
