Dale Leffler Obituary
Dale Robert Leffler, 82, of Spotsylvania, Virginia went home to be with his Savior on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Dale was born on May 27, 1941, in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for IBM where his career lasted for 33 years. Dale retired from IBM and moved to Virginia to be closer to his kids and grandkids. He was an active member of Spotswood Baptist Church, sang in the choir, and served as a deacon for many years.
The family will receive friends at Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009
Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA, on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service to be held at 10:30 a.m. and a reception afterwards in the fellowship hall. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, E. Marie Leffler; son, Michael Leffler (Karen); daughter, Terry Ryan (Wade); granddaughters Sarah Leffler and Megan Leffler; great granddaughter Claritie Leffler; sister, Barbara Ferrebee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin S. Leffler and Evelyn P. Leffler, and his sister, Sally Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the VCU Kidney Transplant Unit.
