Deanne R. Jennings

Deanne R. Emerson Jennings, 61, of Stafford County passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 10, 1943, in Fulton, N.Y.

Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Myrtle Emerson; a niece, Casey Brown; and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Melvin Jennings; two daughters, Sheila Arritt and her husband, Raymond, of Fredericksburg, and Janine Dickson of Allen, Texas; two sons, Anthony Jennings and his wife, Tracey, of Fort Polk, La., and Brian Jennings and his wife, Delia, of Winchester; 11 grandchildren, Alicia and Kyle of Fredericksburg, Logan, Mariah and Simon of Allen, Erica and Christopher of Fort Polk, and Rebecca, Justin, Catelin and Gabrielle of Winchester; two sisters, Dawn Brown and her husband, Robert, of Fulton, and Doreen Waugh and her husband, Ron, of Hannibal, N.Y.; one niece; and three nephews.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, with the Rev. Douglas Ronsheim officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
