Suzanne Billin Obituary
Suzanne L. Billin, 89, of Fredericksburg, Va., formerly of Old Greenwich, Conn., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife, of Richard Billin for 68 years; Suzanne was a devoted mother, to Paige Billin-Frye, Ken Billin, and Beverly Billin; and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren.
A talented gardener, seamstress, knitter, and quilter, Suzanne was known for her creativity and love of crafts. Her handmade quilts and needlework, created with care for her children and grandchildren, remain lasting gifts of her artistry. She was also an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast and a lifelong supporter of the arts, a passion she proudly passed on to her children.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery 1902 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra PO Box 5190, Fredericksburg, VA 22403 or fredericksburgsymphony.org.
