Virginia Foster Obituary
Susan was born on Feb. 1, 1946, in Fredericksburg, Texas to John and Altha Fay Short Schmidt. She married Melvin Foster on Aug. 1, 1973, in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Susan is survived by four sons, four daughters and spouses: Susan Robinson, Wanda & Gabriel Flores, Shannon & Sherrell Medlock, Scott & Kim Medlock, Dawn & Jeffrey Helm, Sharon Kirkconnell, Kenneth & Pat Foster and David Foster; 25 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; siblings and spouses: Joyce & LeeRoy King, Robert & Sabrina Schmidt, Mary Jane Peters & John Schmidt.
Along with her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her siblings: Richard Schmidt, Katherine Garcia & James Schmidt; granddaughter, Samantha Blank, and grandson, Robert Blumrich III.
Susan was most known for her ability and love of all crafts. She loved sewing, painting, crocheting, and ceramics, to name just a few of the many crafting talents she had.
The family would like to thank all of the healthcare professionals with Fredericksburg Nursing & Rehab and Hill Country Memorial Hospice for the care and compassion they have shown.
A celebration of life was held at the home of Scott & Kim Medlock, 134 County Road 221 in Tow, Texas on Saturday, March 4, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Hill Country SPCA or charity of choice.
