David Joseph Shevock

- - Age 50, passed Saturday, July 28 after a 3-year battle with brain cancer. Born in Dearborn on December 8th, 1967, to Joe and Sharon Shevock. He graduated from UofM in 1990 with an Economics degree and went on to earn his MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1998. Dave focused his professional efforts in the field of health technology, helping a number of start-ups with his considerable marketing skills. As if he knew his life would be cut short, Dave lived it fully and without regrets, always insisting on celebrating his friends' and family's milestones. He was the ultimate host, making new and old friends and creating new relationships. He will be remembered as a vibrant person before cancer extinguished his bright, beautiful light. Dave is survived by his husband, Ken Miller, parents, Joe and Sharon Shevock, sisters, Christine Shevock Ehrenberger and Sheryl (Scott) VanHeesbeke, and Dave's adored nieces and nephews: Hayley, Hannah, Ben, Cali, Olivia and Adam. David's amazing life will be celebrated at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 North Silvery Lane, Dearborn on Saturday August 25 at 10:00 am.
