Brighton - unexpectedly November 25, 2018 age 50. Loving husband of Barb. Beloved father of Jack, and Kate. Cherished son of Charles and Norma, and son-in-law of Ida Van Wingerden. Dear brother of Steve (Edwin Critchlow) Peltz, and brother-in-law of Cathy Smith, Donna Van Wingerden, Ruas (Hanh) VanWingerden, Lois (Howard) Walker, and Don (Josie) Van Wingerden. Visitation Thursday, November 29th 4-7 PM at Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 46401 Ann Arbor Rd. W., (Btwn Sheldon & Beck) Plymouth. Celebration of Life Service Friday, November 30th 11 AM at Cornerstone EPC, 9455 Hilton Rd., Brighton, MI 48114. Even though I did graduate with his brother and went to school with Matt I got to know him more in the last few years. He was a great man of character, one who loved his family very much. My daughter played soccer with Kate, and my husband and I had many conversations with him on the sidelines. He loved Barb his wife very much and adored his two kids. You could always tell he was a proud father as Kate played on that soccer field. He never missed a game that I know of, he was so very proud of her. Matt will be greatly missed by all who had the priveledge of knowing him. May God wrap His loving arms around his entire family at this time of need.
