Nicholas Sean Carson

Alanson - Jan. 24,1982 - Dec.25,2019. Age 37. Nick leaves behind his loving wife Keri, cherished sons Finnegan (4) & Felix (1). Dearest son to Joseph (step mother Linda)& Joan (step father Skip), loving in laws Tom & Brenda, brothers and best friends Luke (Cindy) & Peter (Jonathan), half sister Joslin,brother in law Adam (deceased), step brothers Luke & Kip, step sister Noel as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & generous co-workers & friends. Sadly Nick passed away Christmas Day following a car accident Monday morning on his way to work at the Petoskey Brewing Co. Nick was a hero giving the gift of life to several others as he was an organ donor. Special thanks to Courtney and all the staff at McLaren Hospital for the care given and the memorable Walk Of Honor to send our loved one off. Four years ago today our lives were forever changed when you left this life much too early. Even though you no longer walk among us, you are still very much present in our day to day lives. Your sons are living testament to the legacy you left behind. You are remembered every day not only by myself, but by all of your family and friends who so fondly remember you. I often wish that I could go back in time and be able to change the events of that fateful day, but that is only wishful thinking on my part. I only have my memories of you to comfort me in the dark times. Just know Nicholas that you are truly missed and loved.

Hard to believe that it's been two years since you left us. Not a day goes by that we don't think about you. You are missed so much. Although your time on this earth was cut short, you accomplished a lot. Your presence and spirit live on through all of your accomplishments as well as the loved ones you left behind. Although you are not physically here with us, we know you are with us everyday. Look over your family and all of your loved ones and know that we will always cherish the time we had with you.

We will always remember the day you were born Nick, Super Bowl Sunday 1982. Even though we hadn't seen you since your brother Luke's wedding , we thought of you & Keri & the boys often. I am so sorry for your loss. Nick was a great guy, and one of the main reasons I loved going to work each day at Hyalite Elementary. Memories of his great personality and the endless pranks we pulled on unsuspecting coworkers will be something I will cherish forever. May God give you the strength and courage to face each day moving forward. Hold tight to your little boys and help them grow to be great guys like their father.
