PATRICIA A., Ph.D May 24, 2016 Age 71. Dear sister of Maureen O'Donnell (George Kuetemeyer), Kathleen Ellis (Stephen), Daniel (Lynn), John (Holly), James (Linda), Michael (Sherry), Philip (Linda), Robert (Beth) and Hugh (Karen). She is survived by 24 nieces and nephews as well as many grand-nieces and nephews. Also survived by her friend Veronica Flynn. Family will receive friends Friday 4 - 8 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile), 248-549-0500. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 a.m. at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, 1250 Kensington Rd. (btwn Wattles and Long Lake), Bloomfield Hills. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial tributes to charity of donor's choice.

I am so sad to learn of Patti's passing. I want to celebrate her wonderful spirit and life. In particular, I am so grateful to her loving and dedicated work on the genealogy of the Lambe and O'Donnell families. She created a tree that I use and share and she has kept alive memories and our family history for years to come. Patti also maintained relationships with her Tipperary Lambe roots and family. I am grateful for these, adnmittedly brief, glimpses into her life and send my deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. To honor her and help maintain the connections she helped to keep and grow, I would love to connect with another O'Donnell and keep the wonderful history we share.
