Emma Wolsleger, 94, of Dodge died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Parkview Home in Dodge.
She was born July 31, 1913, on a farm northeast of Dodge to Alois and Adela (Pospishil) Kriz. She attended rural
district 45 grade school and was a 1930 graduate of Dodge High School. She married Harry W. Wolsleger on Oct. 8, 1931, in Fremont. They farmed southwest of Dodge until 1944 when they moved to a farm east of Dodge. She was employed at Campbell Soup Co. in Fremont for 14 years and retired in 1972. Her husband died Dec. 16, 1992. In 1994, she moved from the farm to Snyder.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Snyder, Lutheran Ladies Aid and a Dodge County Extension club.
Survivors include: a daughter, Janet Meyer of Dodge;
six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's
Lutheran Church in Snyder with the Rev. Gerry Weaver officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Humlicek Funeral Home in Dodge with family present from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Snyder.
