Tyler Schenzel Obituary

Tyler A. "Ty" Schenzel and Theresa A. "Terri" Schenzel died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015.

Tyler "Ty" Schenzel was born Jan. 12, 1961, in Great Falls, Mont. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Schenzel. He is survived by his father, Donald Schenzel (Gun); and sister, Julie Darr.

Theresa Ann "Terri" Schenzel was born April 16, 1956, in Morgantown, W.Va. She is survived by her parents, Emil and Virginia Alexander; two brothers, Michael Alexander and Patrick Alexander; and two sisters, Paulette Alexander and Amy Bracy.

Together, Ty and Terry are survived by their children: daughters, Emily Lanphier (Paul) and Annie Schenzel; sons, Tyler D. Schenzel and Turner Schenzel (Jade); and their grandchildren, Theo and Violet.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Waypoint Church, 1313 N. 48th Ave., in Omaha. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Community Church, 404 S. 108th Ave., in Omaha. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Waypoint Church Building Fund or The Hope Center for Kids.
