Agnes Kisner Obituary

Agnes Kisner (née Jarahian), born December 24, 1934, in Sanger, California, passed away peacefully at home with her family on September 7, 2025, in Sanger.

As a young woman, her friends called her "The Outlaw" after Jane Russell, a nickname that reflected her spirited personality and the spark that made her unforgettable. In the 1950s she lived in Hollywood, a time full of adventure and laughter, and it was there that she met the love of her life, her husband.

Agnes dedicated her life to her family, always putting others before herself. She was a steady and loving presence, creating a home filled with comfort and care. She was known for the small but meaningful ways she showed her love, especially by making sure her grandchildren always had fresh chocolate chip cookies waiting for them when they visited. Those simple moments became treasured memories that her family will carry forever.

She loved animals, found joy in gardening, and had a natural gift for nurturing both people and animals around her. Her kindness, selflessness, and gentle humor touched all who knew her.

Agnes is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and brother, who will always hold her close in their hearts. Services will be private. The family kindly requests no flowers or gifts. Those wishing to honor Agnes may make a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the American Lung Association.
