ALBERT NUTTALL Obituary

Albert C. Nuttall, "Bert" son of William A. Nuttall and Margaret Grace Greer Nuttall died Friday, April 23, 2010, at home in Fresno, at the age of 87. He was the youngest of eight. Born October 10, 1922, in Provo, Utah, on a dairy farm where he learned to work, play, hunt, fish, and ski. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary in the Northwest States. He married Betty Green in 1945, and raised four children in Payson, Utah. He worked the family farm and at Geneva Steel. In 1962, the family moved to Sacramento. He moved to Fresno in 1968, to work for Cal-Trans Right of Way Dept. He married his dear wife Patricia Burke in 1977. They enjoyed golf and traveled the world. For 20 years, their favorite spot was Ixtapa, Mexico in January. He was active in the Fresno Chapter of SIRS Branch 159. He enjoyed his garden and working around his home. He will be remembered as an honest, kind, generous, and hardworking. He loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Pat; children, David and his wife Marlene of Ogden, Ut., Julie Ahlstrom and her husband, Steve, of Pasco, Wa., Jim and his wife Janet, of Stockton, Nancy Klich of Porterville, Michelle Lung and her husband Alan of Fresno, and Nicole Bulman and Bryan of West Hills, CA; 18 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Farewell on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 342 W.
