ANDRES REY LOPEZ Andres Rey Lopez was born on December 8, 1986, in Visalia, California and passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2006. Andres, a follower of Christ, is a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend to many. He met his Heavenly Father after a fatal car accident early Saturday morning, December 23, 2006, in Hanford, California. He attended George McCann Catholic School in Visalia, Immanuel Junior High School and graduated in 2005 from Immanuel High School in Reedley, California. He was currently attending College of the Sequoias in Visalia. He was employed by the Vintage Press in Visalia. Andres had a heart for the Lord. He attended Grace Community Church of Visalia where he spent most of his free time participating in student-lead worship services and was an active member of the youth group. In the summer of 2004 Andres was given the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica on a missionary trip. Andres infectious laugh and smile will truly be missed. His zest for life was evident in his friendships. Although his warm heart and love for all is missed, we look forward to our reunion. We will remember him in our hearts always. He is predeceased by maternal grandparents, Andres and Emilia Vela of Sanger, California. Andres is survived by his parents, Jesse and Inez Vela-Lopez; siblings, Jessica, Christina, and Adrian Lopez, all of Visalia; fraternal grandparents Jesus and San Juana Lopez of Sanger, California, as well as extended family. Visitation will be held at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia on Thursday, January 4, 2007, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 E. Goshen Avenue in Visalia on Friday, January 5, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Community Church of Visalia, 424 N. Lovers Lane in Visalia on Friday, January 5, 2007, at 11:39 a.m. A reception immediately following in the Student Center of the church.
