Her work in the TC program will never be forgotten, it will always be a part of history-
I remember her smile, her affection towards all of us, it drew us closer towards her.

To Bette's Family: My Prayers are with you all..I will never forget how WONDERFUL she was to me and other deaf children when we were young at Norseman. I am very sorry for not being able to come today for the funeral but she will always be in my thoughts. She has done a lot for the Deaf Community, helped the deaf children, and she will not be forgotten!

Bettie to me was an Aunt I never had the chance to know her. I heard many wonderful storys from my Sister Rosie (Cook, Helmer) Guildner, and my brother Jimmy Cook Jr. Aunt Bettie helped raise my sister Rosie. She was Rosie Mother-Auntie. She will be missed
