Daryl passed away with his family by his side in Fresno on Friday, February 24, 2012, at the age of 56. He was born in Fresno on October 24, 1955, to William and Gwen Larkin.
Daryl attended St. John's Elem. School where he proudly served as an altar boy. He also attended McLane High School.
Daryl worked in sales for many years. He also worked as a licensed pest control adviser. He had an excellent work ethic and a friendly nature that endeared people to him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wm. B. Larkin; and a brother Rodney Larkin.
His spiritual faith continues to give strength and support to his family - An inspiration that will last forever.
He is survived by his loving wife Jackie; daughters Natalie, and Charlene DiMenco and her husband Rick; and grandson Nikolas. He is also survived by his mother, Gwen Larkin; brothers Gordon and his wife Donna, William Jr., and Steve; and sister, Linda Losson and her husband Carl. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Friday, March 2, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
Any remembrances can be sent to St. Agnes Hospice.
