Fresno, California - Denise Silveira Melikian, a beacon of light and inspiration, passed away peacefully in Clovis, California, on December 24, 2023, after a long, challenging health condition. Born on June 13, 1953, in the peaceful town of Tranquillity, California, Denise's life was a testament to her name, exuding strength and grace that touched everyone she met.

Denise's family was her pride and joy. Though she was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Manuel Silveira and Elsie Bettinsoli Silveira, as well as her cherished husband, Larry Melikian, her legacy lives on through her proud sons, Bryan Melikian and his wife Malorie of Clovis, and Adam Melikian of Fresno. She was also a beloved sister to Carole Silveira of Fresno , Stanley "Stan" Silveira of Tranquillity, and Joseph "Joe" Silveira and his wife Anne of Redding. She is the cherished grandmother of Maxton and Blake Melikian. Also surviving is sister-in-law Diane Melikian of Fresno, brother-in-law Jeff Melikian and his wife Karen of Fresno, and sister-in-law Cheri Melkonian of Sanger. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration in Thanksgiving and Remembrance of Denise's life will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 11 AM at Northwest Church (Barstow and West Avenues) in Fresno. A Private Interment will be at Belmont Memorial Park.
