Donna Barsotti Obituary

Donna Tognetti Barsotti passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008, in Fresno, Ca. She was born on February 17, 1941, in Marlia (Capannori), Provin-cia di Lucca, Italy, the daughter of Luigi and Livia Tognetti. Donna came to the United States in 1955 at the age of 14.

A graduate of Madera High School in 1961, Donna began her 47 year career in the Title and Escrow Insurance business with Security Title Insur-ance Co. in Madera. This later became Safeco Title and ultimately Chicago Title. Her knowledge and dedication to work as a senior escrow officersupervisor was recognized as a true asset to the business. She was a long time member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Italian Catholic Federation and the California Escrow Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather, Aladiono Bronco Unti. ~~~

Her family wishes to thank the staff of the Nazareth House-Fresno, St. Agnes Medical Center Neurological Care Unit, and the UCSF Neurological Center, Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center, Pis-toresi Ambulance Service and the nurses from Maxim Health Care Services for their special care to Donna.

She is survived by Jim Barsotti of Madera, her husband of 45 years; her two sons, Steven Barsotti and his wife Kandra of Madera, and Mark Barsotti and his wife Shannon of Clovis; her daughter, Carla Williams and her husband Jason of Fresno; her grandchildren, Derek, Nic-ole, Haley, Chase and Peyton Barsotti, Colton Williams, and another grandchild expected in September.

There will be Visitation at Jay Chapel on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 13, 2008, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Jay Chapel. on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Madera on Friday, March 14, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera.

To Donna's Family
I really am so saddened to hear the tremendous loss of such a wonderful individual. I know she was so very loved by all who knew her and the people's who's lives she touched.I know she will be missed by everyone she knew, and she has left a tremendous void for her family and friends. I hope she will forever be remembered ,as the lovely person that she was.
