DOVIE KAZARIAN

Dovie Kazarian was born in Fresno, California, on December 30, 1921, the oldest of four children, to Garabed and Nevart Bandelian. After graduating from Fresno Tech High School she married James Kazarian (Kaz) and resided in Fresno where she worked many years in retail sales at Gottschalks, Junior Bootery and the Drug Store in Fig Garden Village. After retiring she moved to Aptos where she enjoyed walking the beach and going to movies with her friends. After James passed away she decided to move back to Fresno to be with family. Her three brothers, Nishon, Carl and John Bandelian, precede her in death. Her two sister-in-laws, Carmelia & Emily Bandelian; as well as three nephews and a niece; and many great nieces & nephews also survive her. Visitation will be at Yost & Webb on Sunday, August 4, 2013, from 1-4 p.m. Graveside services will be at Ararat Cemetery, on Monday, August 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to First Armenian Presbyterian Church.
