Edgar Kaiser Obituary
May 26, 1942 - January 7, 2025
Fresno, Ca. - With deep sadness the family of Edgar Arnold Kaiser share his peaceful passing at home on January 7, 2025. He was born on May 26, 1942, in Modesto, Ca. Ed was raised in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High in 1960. He lettered in basketball, football, wrestling, boxing, and baseball. He was inducted to the Modesto Junior College Hall of Fame and Tracy Sports Hall of Fame. At Fresno State he was the football team captain where he earned Outstanding Defensive Player and " Little All Coast" honors. Ed farmed on K & L Farms with brother's Steve and Dave. He served as San Joaquin Valley Hay Growers Assn. President from 1976-78 and 1988-90 and was Tracy Chamber of Commerce Agriculturist of the Year in 2001.
Ed's first love was his wife Carole who he married in 1989. His second love was golf. He was Tracy Golf & C.C. President, Stockton Golf & C.C. President, Pasatiempo Golf Club Director, San Joaquin Country Club President and has been a Director of Seniors of NCGA since 2018. Ed and Carole have lived in Fresno for the past 20 years.
Ed is survived by his wife Carole Kaiser and their daughter's families, Amy Federighi (Dale), Kim Kouba (Ted), Tracie (Jon) and siblings Bette Kaiser, Steve Kaiser and Dave Kaiser. Donations are welcomed to Fresno State Golf for Excellence by mail to 1420 Jordan Ave. Clovis Ca. 95611.

The first time I met and played golf with Ed, it was as if I had known him all my life. We had so much in common and I don't remember who talked the most. We shared a lot of time, fun, and of course, golf after that. He was one of the good guys, and I will miss him so. I would also like to thank Carole for buying me and a few of his other buddy's lunch a few Fridays ago. What a thoughtful and sweet thing to surprise our Friday lunch group with. Dudley
