Fresno, California - Eric James Briscoe, age 48, loving father of four boys, and adoring husband to Melanie Briscoe, passed away unexpectedly on the 25th of November 2022 while camping with friends and family in Ridgecrest, California.
Eric was born in 1974 on the 28th of August in Jerome, Idaho. He moved with his parents, Ron and Phyllis, and his two sisters, Ronna and Holly, to Fresno in 1987. At a very young age, Eric began a career in masonry that ultimately led him to be the Operations Manager with Harmonson Construction. Eric's passion for creating and building can be seen in many buildings and homes throughout Fresno County.
Although they attended the same high school, it wasn't until a New Year's Eve Party in 1998 where he met his wife, Melanie. They soon began a loving marriage which spanned nearly 20 years of complete adoration and devotion. Together they raised four sons, Carson, Jackson, Hayden and Brayden with unwavering love and support.
In addition to his wife Melanie, and the "bigs and the littles," Eric is survived by his father Ron and Melinda Briscoe, his mother Phyllis Briscoe Weiss, his sister Ronna and Brad Gregory, his sister Holly and Rick Philpot, his nieces and nephews Tyler, Tanner, Rece, Mason, Raigen, Lucy and Grayson, his sister-in-law Julie and Tracy Howell Adams, and his mother- in- law Cherri and James Makasian.
A service is scheduled for 2:00pm on December 9th at New Hope Church, 4620 E Nees Ave., Clovis CA 93611. Reception to follow at the New Hope Church hall. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation.
