FLOYD BILLBERRY

Floyd Billberry was born on January 23, 1920, in Merkel, TX and passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Clovis, CA. Floyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, foster father and friend. He liked to travel, fish and hunt. He also enjoyed target shooting and time with friends at the gun range. He served his country honorably in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a plumber for 60 years and an owner of Walt's Plumbing for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Walker; his wife Faye; his son Roger; and his brother Walter. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Reyes and her husband Seferino of Clovis, CA. He also leaves four grandchildren, Steve Billberry and his wife Lori, Stacey Hughes and her husband Tim, and Robert Swank and Michael Swank; four great-grandchildren; and two foster children. Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Clovis, located on Tollhouse and Armstrong, on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be sent to Fresno Rescue Mission, 310 G Street, Fresno, CA 93706.
