Glenn Graham Obituary

GLENN EDWARD GRAHAM Glenn passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2004, at his home in Fresno, CA. He was born on February 11, 1974, in Reno, NV. Glenn attended Saint Mary's School, Jesuit High School and Sacramento City College in Sacramento. He received his degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno and had recently returned to Fresno to pursue a Teaching Credential. Glenn was a loving son, brother, cousin and uncle who is best remembered for his quick wit, political savvy and deep regard for his fellow man. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman, having fished many of the streams and lakes of the Sierra Nevada range. Upon graduating from CSUF, Glenn worked for Enterprise both in Fresno and Las Vegas. He left the company to work in the family business, while preparing to return to school in Fresno. A short time in our lives, forever in our hearts. Glenn is survived by his parents, Mona and Jim Graham; his sisters, Debbie Dewar of Medford, OR, Linda Graham of Roseville and Cynthia Achermann of Sacramento; his grandmother, Victoria Seaman of Reno, NV; his nieces, Tori and Christina Dewar; his nephews, Tyler Graham and Dylan Achermann; special cousin, Reenie Griffin; and close friends Matt Hamilton and Johnny Silhi. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of his parents, 2651 Sierra Blvd. in Sacramento on Saturday, September 18, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Glenn was committed to a drug free life. The Graham Family,

Though it has been more than three months since Glenn's passing, I unfortunately, only heard today that he was gone.

I worked with Glenn in Las Vegas and he certainly was quick with the wit! In fact, when we first met we were bumping heads like two age long rivals. However, I soon realized what a great friend he could be. In fact, he and I were as close as some brothers until I left Las Vegas in January of 2004.

He truly did love an admire both of you as parents. When he told me he was leaving Vegas to move closer to the two of you I was not at all surprised.

He certainly did teach me a lot in the 8 months we worked together. You always knew where you stood with Glenn. He was a kind hearted and generous young man.

Glenn was the most kind spirited and mild mannered man I have ever met. Living with him while he was in Las Vegas was such a great experience. He became an older brother to me. It breaks my heart to no longer hear his laughter or see that smile. My deepest condolensces to his family. He loved you so very much.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart to imagine the pain you must be feeling. I only met your son Glenn a few times, but I would just like to let you know that anyone with the honor of meeting him will never forget him.He was a great person and I am really going to miss him. I am so sorry to have lost such a great friend in Glenn. Matt and Joanell introduced him to us about 4 years ago and we grew close very fast. I am still in shock and already miss him so much. I met Glenn while working for Senator Boxer. I had gone to the Joe Lieberman rally that Glenn helped to organize for Campaign 2000. He was signing up Fresno State students for the College Democrats club. I joined; we became friends. He always provided me with thought provoking conversation about politics. We were both in the Political Science program at Fresno State and often compared notes on teachers and classes. He talked often about his family and his friends. Both our lives got busy, and to my regret we fell out of touch. I am stunned and sorry to know that he has passed on. My sympathies go out to his family and friends.
