Hannah Mestas Obituary

Hannah Arendt Beggs Mestas

December 30, 1982 - March 20, 2024

Fresno, California - Hannah Arendt Beggs (Mestas) passed away on March 20, 2024, in Fresno, California, after fighting a painful and complex disease. Hannah's passing was unexpected as she and her family were unprepared for the significant extent to which the disease progressed.

Hannah is survived by her parents, Patrick Beggs and Deborah Beggs, her sister Reanin and her husband Rory Kielmeyer and their 3 children, Annaliese, Hannah and Gabriella. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Tom and Shelly Beggs, Mary Plumlee, Robert and Cindi Arendt and James Arendt. She also has several cousins who were very special to her.

Preceding Hannah's death, she especially felt the loss of her brother, Matthew Beggs and her grandparents Joan and Philip Arendt who she was very dedicated to during their last years of life. Also preceding her death were her aunts Jean Norman, Janet Moe and Kellie Arendt.

Hannah graduated from Clovis West High School. She was a proud graduate of the culinary arts program at the Institute of Technology in Fresno. Hannah went on to serve the community as a caterer, most proud of her work cooking breakfast and lunch for students at C.A.R.T. while providing humble mentorship and frequently a meal on the house.

To know Hannah was to love Hannah. She treated everyone with dignity and respect. Hannah was fiercely loyal to friends and family. We all feel the void and miss her very much. Our solace is that her suffering is extinguished and she is reunited in the peace of the Lord with family and friends who have gone before her. We will hold Hannah's memory and love close to our hearts forever. A celebration of Hannah's life will be held at Pardini's (2257 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno) on Saturday May 11, 2024 at noon.
