JEFFERY ARNOLD Obituary

At the age of 56, Jeff passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2011. He was at home in Clovis surrounded by family and friends. He fought a long battle with brain cancer until he went to be with his Lord and Savior. He worked for Children's Hospital of Central California for 19 years in the Biomedical Department. He was an active man who loved hiking, camping and had a love-hate relationship for the game of golf. He had a strong sense of community and showed it by his involvement with Team in Training, volunteering at numerous charity triathlons and running the Portland Marathon to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He was a beloved father, uncle and husband. He was the epitome of a family man. He is survived by Kathy Arnold, his Wife of 33 years; daughter, Kristina Arnold; son, Matthew Arnold all of Clovis; father, Edward Arnold of Auberry; and beloved extended family. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Children's Hospital of Central California, which was dear to his heart. Jeff always had a big smile and a story to tell when we would meet in the hallway at Childens. I enjoyed his saga of his kitchen remodel. He will be missed.

Dear Arnold family;
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Jeff; I was thinking about him just last Sunday, during choir practice, when I thought about how much he loved to sing, when we were in youth choir. He inspired everyone with his love for praising God in song. It was a privilege to know him at McLane and First Church. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Kim Emerian-Schlievert
