I'll never forget Mr. Maruko. More than 45 years ago, I was a young kid without means and a broke down motorcycle. I would drive across town because I knew Mr. Maruko would take the time to tell me how to fix my Honda. He was about helping people. Rest in peace Mr. Maruko.

Dad, I am so sorry you have left us
I wish I had done more for you
I appreciate our short days we spent together from when you were feeling well (riding your quad) to when you were not was very hard for me, it happened so fast and was unexpected
The best times I will cherish are the almost 9 close years we had together after Mom left us
You were a great Dad, leader, mentor, teacher, reminder, social coordinator, personal secretary
You were always in a laid back happy mood with a good appetite
I know you are still with us, just not physically, which we all will miss and it will be hard not to see you, hear your voice, talk with you, and laugh with you
We are grateful that you are in a safe and restful place and are able to dance again with Fumi (Mom)
