Kenneth Guild Obituary

KENNETH L. GUILD Kenneth L. Guild was born in Magill, NV on May 8, 1935, and was called to God on June 25, 2003. He attended White Pine County High School in Ely, NV and in February of 1954 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After a tour in post war Korea, Kenneth met, and in December of 1957, married Betty, his wife of the next 46 years. Together they raised six children and in 1970 chose Clovis, CA as their home. Kenneth retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 32 years of service as a computer programmer. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Beatrice Guild of Clovis; sons, Michael B. Martinez and his wife Terry of UT, and Kenneth L. Guild Jr. of Fresno; daughters, Pam Brown, Patty Colombini and her husband Larry, and Teresa Cox all of Clovis; his sisters, Jeanette and Vivian Affleck; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Newborne. Kenneth L. Guild Sr. was a devoted husband and father and for his love, kindness and guidance we shall always be eternally greatful. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis on Monday, June 30, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. Remembrances are asked to be made to the Hinds Hospice Home Services, 1616 W. Shaw Ave. Suite B-6, Fresno, CA 93711.
