Grandpa AKA The Tickle Monster. You are the only adult who always took time to play with us kids. You loved hearing us laugh and squeal and run down the hall waiting for the infamous Tickle Monster to come get us. Your smile was so bright. When you were happy and smiled your whole face smiled. You took the time to try and connect with me when I was a troubled teen that nobody wanted to deal with. I can't remember a single time you were ever anything but loving and supportive of me. I'm so grateful my children got to know and love the same grandfather I did. You were so much more important to me than you ever knew. Your special place in my heart will remain there. Filled with our shared smiles and laughter. What I wouldn't do to sit beside you in your chair and hear one more of your stories one last time. Thank you Grandpa. I'll see you again one day, and as your Great-granddaughter said, your wings will be so beautiful and you will be smiling because you're with Jesus and you're happy now.
