KRISTOFER JOHANSEN Obituary

Kris was an amazing person who was the loving son born to Jack and Helen Johansen on November 15, 1961. He went to join our mom and dad, and the Lord on December 9, 2010, surrounded by his family and friends. Kris was a 1980 graduate of Clovis West High School, where he was known for having the heart of a lion and the touch of a lamb, along with a great sense of humor. He went on to Questa College, later became a Carpenter and belonged to the Carpenters Union. He was involved in various sports, mainly playing football. He continued on as an adult, playing soccer, even coaching his niece's soccer team. Family was always inportant to him! He was reunited at his 30 year reunion with Jackie, his close high school friend, to share a special love. Kris had a great heart and soul, he loved! He is missed and loved by all of us!

Kris was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Johansen. He leaves behind his sister and brother in law, Sheryl and Mark Mitchell; brother, Jack Richard Johansen; nieces, Nicole Ensalaco, and her husband Anthony, Kristen Mitchell, Summer Johansen, Alisha Johansen, and nephew Cory Holmcomb. He was a great-uncle to Mark and Shelby Ensalaco, Coten Fraser, and Aubrey Leon. He leaves his special love, best friend, fiancee, Jackie Amabil, and his special friend who was there for him through the good and bad, Bob Liddle, of French town, Montana. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery, December 20, 2010, at 1:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at New Hope Community Church 4620 E. Nees, between Clovis and Sunnyside. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army, Breast Cancer or Pancreatic Cancer Society.

Kris was one of the closest guy friends I had in high school. I always felt Kris had this huge heart and shared it with everyone. I am so shocked to have him leave us. To his sister and brother-n-law, I know Kris will be missed and now he is spending time watching over you with your mom and dad. Jackie, I never had the chance to congratulate you. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I haven't seen you over the years, I still consider you a friend and am here for you. Tina Cullen Hack
