Leonard Sanders Obituary

Leonard Eugene Sanders
April 19, 1936 - October 28, 2021
Clovis, California - Gene Sanders went to be with our Heavenly Father Oct. 28, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judie and their sons, Scott and wife Kim, Andy and wife Jenny and their children, Colbey, Alexa and Aubrey, and daughter, Kim and husband Gary Goldsberry. Gene and Judie, until their retirement in 2007, ran the family business, Sanders Decal Inc. He made lots of lifelong friends from running the business. Gene had many loves and pastimes; he loved teaching classes at his church, visiting with people and sharing the gospel with everyone he knew! He loved the high desert and the Sierra Mountains and took many camping trips with friends and family. He was a loving, giving, devoted husband, a father who loved his kids tremendously. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. If there was a bomber, warbird or fighter jet in the sky he ran to catch a glimpse. That put a big smile on his face. He will be sorely missed and remembered dearly. We love you!
