Lillian Sabroe Obituary

LILLIAN SARA SABROE Lillian was born on January 7, 1921, in Fresno, CA, and passed away on November 4, 2002, at the age of 81. She was a secretary for Central Unified School District for 30 years. She is survived by her children, Lee and his wife Christina Sabroe, Lynn and her husband Steve Sanoian, Donna and her husband Mark Bogdanovich, and Bob Sabroe, all of Fresno; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 6, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Calaveras Chapel, on Thursday, November 7, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Biola Congregational Church, P.O. Box 307, Biola CA, 93606, or to the American Lung Association of Central California, 4948 N. Arthur Ave., Fresno, CA 93705.

We came to know Lillian mostly through the wonderful stories and hearing about family times told by Lynne. She was interesting to talk to and had a love of life and activity. She was truly a "modern" woman and yet very traditional in her dedication and commitment. She will be missed but not forgotten by those who knew her.
