Lucy Karian Bogosian

Lucy Karian Bogosian passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at the age of 86, in Fresno, California. Lucy was the eldest of four daughters born to Harry and Surpouhi Karian on March 23,1921, in So. Milwaukee, Wiscon-sin. Lucy was a devoted wife, mother and grand-mother. She was a member of St. Paul's Armenian Church, St. Paul's Senior Ladies Society and Daugh-ters of Vartan. The family would like to thank her many doctors for their wonderful treatment. We also want to thank the staff at the California Armenian Home for their loving care. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon; daughter Sharon; her parents, sister, Mary Gab-riel and her husband Leon of Appleton, Wisconsin; bro-ther-in-law, Harry Nabe-dian; and nephew, Glenn Nabedian of So. Milwau-kee, Wisconsin. Lucy is survived by her daughter Nancy Vestal of Grand Prairie, Texas; dau-ghter, Linda Parvanian and son-in-law Stan of Sanger, California; four grandchil-dren, Stacy Elliston and her husband Chris of Dallas, Texas, Brian Vestal and his wife Dori of Jacksonville, Texas, Paul Parvanian and his fiancee, Tracy Wilhite of Fresno, and Mark Parva-nian of Sanger; two great-grandchildren, Kate and Jake Elliston; sister, Lor-raine Nabedian of Madison, Wisconsin; sister, Rose Ek-izian and her husband Mike of Fresno; and many cou-sins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Yost & Webb Funeral Ho-me on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's Armenian Church on Thursday, June 7, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Bel-mont Memorial Park.
