Paul Boghosian

PAUL BOGHOSIAN Paul Boghosian, of Fowler, CA, was born January 10, 1923, as the eldest child of Nighoghos and Oghda Boghosian. Paul passed away in Fresno, CA after a lengthy illness on August 17, 2003, at the age of 80. Paul's parents emigrated from Armenia to Massachusetts in the 1920's, and later brought their family to Fowler, California in 1938, beginning their lifelong career in farming. Paul and his brother, Peter, formed Boghosian Brothers in Fowler, California and later founded Boghosian Raisin Packing Co., Inc. in 1965. Paul is survived by his mother, Oghda Boghosian of Fowler; his loving wife of 57 years, Armon Gahvejian Boghosian; a son, Nicholas Boghosian and daughter-in-law, Nancy Boghosian of Fresno; a son, Philip Boghosian of Fresno; one grandson, Darren Boghosian of Los Angeles; his brother, Peter Boghosian and sister-in-law, Carol Boghosian of Fresno, and many other wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. His father, Nighoghos Boghosian, and his two sisters, Irene Choboian and Altoon Mooradian, preceded Paul in death. Paul Boghosian was known as a soft-spoken, hard-working, intelligent gentleman who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, employees, industry members, business associates, and all others whose lives he touched. Paul was also an active member of the St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church in Fowler, CA for most of his life, where he served as Chairman of the Parrish Council and remained a member of the Council for years. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Fowler Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 19, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, August 20, 2003, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church in Fowler, CA, on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fowler District Cemetery.
