ROBERT FREDERICK HORN

Bob Horn passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at the age of 78. He was born in Fresno, CA. Bob helped manage the family business, Fred Horn Inc., in Fresno. Bob then purchased and operated a small fishing marina on the Sacramento River. He later returned to Fresno to work with Beef Packers Co. as a truck driver. Bob enjoyed his retirement living in Bass Lake where he made many dear friends. He had a great love for fishing and for the outdoors. As a loving father and friend to many, Bob will be greatly missed. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Alice Horn. Bob is survived by his sister, Ilene Storie and her husband Jim; two daughters, Sharon Mather and her husband Dan, and Sandy Campos and her husband Ed; their mother, LaVerne Horn; and his girlfriend, Joann Kent. A Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Church in Clovis, CA, on Friday, October 21, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. In honor of Bob Horn, donations may be made to the Fresno Deputy Sheriff's Injured Officer's fund.
