Bob Milla was an outstanding human being. He loved life to the fullest and he dearly loved his family. Those of us who worked on the Car Show Committee at St.Agnes Mission will forever be grateful for his untiring help to make it a success.
“ Just what makes that little old ant think he can move that rubber tree plant?”
High Hopes!

PRECIOUS 'COUSIN' BOB...was a source of continued inspiration for me and for all who knew him; indeed, known for his great faith, his positive energy, dynamic spirit and his loving, caring kindness.....my tears at the grief of this great loss fill the ocean here at the seaside where I live in The Netherlands, alongside my burning heart filled love and gratitude for having known and love this truly great man. Strength to you Georgette and to all the family of our dear Bob, during this time of grief and loss......connected with you in prayers and love which transcend space and time difference. Your cousin, your sister Teri

I remember working with Sgt Milla during the 80's & 90'. He was unpretentious. He knew the true value of friendship, honor, and humor. He could look at a complex situation and resolve it with common sense. Once, he was a judge in a hot salsa or chili contest in downtown Fresno. He laughed recounting how he surprised several youthful spectators. They had been snickering, apparently thinking the "rosy-cheeked, Irish cop" was not going to survive tasting the spicy entries. Not only did Sgt Milla "survive", he enjoyed himself, and told them it was delicious in fluent Spanish. I'll never forget the look in his eyes when I reported in from one of my first solo shifts. I said it went pretty well and "don't worry" I maintained my composure after being cut off in a traffic. I said "I didn't even flip the other guy off or anything." After half a second, Sgt Milla said that was "Good , very good." I learned a lot from him. After witnessing years of "the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," Sgt Milla, who knew the importance of family, remained "Honest and True." God bless
you.
