Sally Noroian Obituary

SALLY JANE NOROIAN Sally Jane Noroian passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, in Fresno, at the age of 87. Sally was born on April 16, 1917, in Reedley, CA to Nazareth and Shooshan Noroian. She attended Secretarial School in Los Angeles, graduated from Fresno City College and attended Fresno State College. Sally revered her work and worked full time until her retirement from the Social Security Administration at age 80. She was a long time member and served in many positions in the Business & Professional Womens Club. She is survived by her son, Robert Greenberg and his wife Patricia of Pullman, WA; her grandchildren Carissa and Allison; brothers, Nish Noroian of Blythe, CA, and George Noroian of Bakersfield; sisters, Nelle Rodrick of Walnut Creek, CA, Vivian Minasian of Cupertino, CA, and Frances Apkarian of Reedley; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Saul and the staff at St. Agnes Hospital for the compassionate care of Sally during her illness. A Funeral Service will be held at the Saints Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at l0:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to St. Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E. Herndon Ave., Fresno, CA 93720 or to Sts. Sahag-Mesrob Apostolic Church, 1249 F Street, Reedley, CA 93654. CAIRNS FUNERAL HOME940 F Street, Reedley 638-2233

Sally was a dedicated worker and civil servant. She was a member of the American Federation of Government Employees-AFL CIO Local 3172 for many years.

Her courage and strength will be remembered.
