He graduated from Boys High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1943, then enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he served during the end of WWII, then was honorably discharged in 1945. From the time of their marriage in 1989, Stanley and Ruth had a wonderful life. They spent 15 years living on the Central Coast enjoying wonderful times and making beautiful memories with their family, and then returned to Fresno where they continued to enjoy watching their family grow. Stanley Weinstein was very active with the Men's Club at the Temple, the Lion's Club, American Legion and SIRS. He spent many an afternoon playing racketball with his good friend Jim Ruhl. He was an avid bridge and chess player. He also loved playing poker and would be more than happy to relieve you of you money in a game of poker. He is preceded in death by his mother; father; brother Milton; and first wife Roberta. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth; eight children; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, as well as two dogs and a kitty that miss him dearly. I had the pleasure of meeting the Weinstein's, Stan & Ruth a few years ago while doing some business. What a delight both Stan & Ruth were. Stan had such a mischievous side to him and many jokes as well. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Weinstein Family, My mother was private secretary to Mr. Weinstein for many years in the Probation Department up in the Fresno Court House. She always said he was a top notch boss and a very nice man. Our family sends condolences to your family.

Gary , It has probably been 50 yrs since I have seen you or your family but I still remember taking the bus downtown to see your Dad at his office and then going to the cafeteria in the Courthouse basement to get a hamburger . Somethings you never forget . Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family .
