STEVE GUTIERREZ Obituary

Steve Gutierrez, age 64, passed away in Fresno, CA on Thursday June 18, 2015 in his home surrounded by family. Since 1975, Steve worked for Fowler Packing Company doing what he loved. He was a generous man with a big heart who found much enjoyment when taking trips to the casino and watching his Green Bay Packers play. He is preceded in death by his son Steve Jr. Gutierrez; father Teddy P. Gutierrez; sister Helen Segura. Steve is survived by Linda his wife of 44 years; daughter Nancy Mendoza and husband Freddy Jr.; grandchildren Summer and Steve III Gutierrez; daughter-in-law Christy Gutierrez; mother Ruth Gutierrez. He also has four brothers, four sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 2:00 p.m. Chapel of the Light, 1620 West Belmont Avenue, Fresno, California (559)233-6254

A wonderful father, wonderful worker and a great friend. Surely will be missed by all. Steve worked for my father for a number of years before Fowler Packing. Cannot say enough good things about Steve and his wonderful family.

Our brother someone who will always be remembered especially from my family. My brother had a big heart so big you would be able to hear it from were ever you was at. To my long time friend, Steve and I have known each other since high School and then after many years we ended up neighbors, I always enjoyed his company one of the most standup kind of guy's I have ever known. He will be greatly missed, I just wish now I would have made more time for him R.I.P my Brother for I shall always remember you.

My brother was a strong,caring man. He would do anything for anyone. I am going to miss his craziness,he would always tease us girls. My mom is truly going to miss those 6am calls were Steve would tell her about the weather conditions. He was her weather man.
