Hey Walt, do you remember being at Pebble Beach? I so recall your horror about so many of the trees in the Del Monte Forest being toppled and noone cleaning up the "mess"! Also, I so recall your having to have your own shower head...you must have cringed at the shower heads at my house in Pebble Beach! Man, life will not be the same w/o you. Happy #66 birthday, you and Einstein! with love brother, rest in peace. Dennis

So sad to hear of your passing , Walt. Was hoping to see you and Joyce at the 50th LAHS Reunion. Never forget our adventure to TJ back in '62 in the Blue '56. So many stories and sagas occupy your memory. You will be greatly missed, I know. Keep well. Bruce Cohen in New Zealand

We're sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was a very hard working rep who truly cared about our family owned business. We'll miss him greatlty. Our deepest sympathies go out his family that he always spoke very highly of. From the Bell Family and Staff of Reno Gallery of Furniture.

It was with the deepest shock and sorrow to hear of Walt's passing. Walt, as most will confirm, was/is a special person, a special man.
I always enjoyed his visits and the wide depth of conversations we had on any topic of the day.
My thoughts are with Joyce and their son, my good friend Walter in this trying time.

Hey Dubbo...wow, you would have been impressed and thrilled to have seen the trememdous turnout for your Celebration of Life! It was such a happy release by sharing all the great Walter tales, so may aspects from a wide variety of friends, neighbors and family. There were tears, but they were celebrating you the man, the husband, the dad, the brother, the son and cherished friend. I cannot yet grasp the idea that I cannot ever call you and annoy you, you will not be watching the Olympic hockey game today between the USA and Canada. How will the Bulldogs get along w/o your cheering for them?...eventho you should have been rooting for the Beavers! "Good God Walt" :) My brother, only sibling, Mom & Dad's only son...I so depended on you always being there, I will always cry out for your support, your wise words, and your love. I wish I had one more hug. I love you and will take good care of Mom. Please watch over us all. Every squirrel and crow will make me think of you. Forever missing you, Lois

My Uncle Walt was one of my two favorite uncles! He was one of the few people that I could discuss the intense difficulties and beauties of academic life and music. He will be missed and I am so sorry I never got to fly with him one more time! I always respected his great attention to detail and his immense self-discipline. His influences will not be forgotten.

I think of all the great times we had during our visits over the years, such as our annual Thanksgiving together, playing/watching soccer games, college football-Go Beavs, learning how to dive in the swimming pool, and much more. "Uncle Walt"--not hearing your voice will be very difficult for me. I'm so glad you met our little girl Elia. The Bianchi family misses you. . .

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family, especially my dear friend Walter IV (son of this wonderful man who recently passed). I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet Walt (the father). I always remember him for his straightforwardness and his sense of humor. I'll never forget the time I went to their house and he asked me if his son and I were dating! LOL :) (We weren't at the time, but little did he know that I was interested in his son!) Mr. Lamb will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
