Warren went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 17, 2014. He was the third of ten children born to Elmer and Esther Robinson. He was born in Athol, ID on February 15, 1925. At the age of five Warren and his family moved to Fresno where he spent the rest of his life. As a child he lived in Easton on a farm. He attended Oleander Elementary School and graduated from Washington Union High School. In 1943 he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed in south Florida where he participated in aerial reconnaissance missions over the Gulf of Mexico to check for possible enemy infiltration into the United States. Warren was very proud of the time he served his country and was always telling stories of his adventures. After his discharge in 1946 he attended California State University, Fresno and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Engineering. While attending college he went to work for David H. Horn Architect and Associates, starting as a draftsman. After graduation from college he continued to work for the company for thirty years and was involved as the planning consultant on many school projects in the San Joaquin Valley. In 1960 he purchased a farm and moved his family where he resided for forty-two years. During his time in the service, he developed a love for flying and while operating his farm was able to purchase a small airplane and fulfill his love of aviation. In 1985 he married the love of his life, Donna Avakian Atmajian, and they enjoyed a wonderful life together traveling throughout the United States and twenty-nine countries. They also shared their love of the Lord and enjoyed their small group Bible study at their home for the last four years. In addition to flying and traveling with Donna, Warren loved spending time outdoors and you could find him working all day long in his yard up until he became ill two years ago. Warren loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and all of his nieces and nephews. Warren is survived by a large family who will miss him.
