Willis Clark Obituary

WILLIS CLARK Willis Clark of Visalia was born on September 4, 1934, in Collinsville, OK and passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in Visalia, with his family by his side. He moved to Reedley, CA at an early age where he spent most of his childhood. He will be remembered first and foremost as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was known as an achiever. He succeeded in everything he attempted, mostly having the ability to make friends and letting them know how important each one was to him. He was an avid fisherman and game hunter which he shared with many of his friends. He was a plumbing contractor in Visalia for 36 years, retiring four years ago due to health problems. He employed and trained several young men interested in the building trade. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lorraine; his son Ronald; his daughters Laura, Shirley, and Donna; five grandchildren, Jillian and Blake Balaam, Natalie and Steven Clark, and Sarah Clark; and one great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel in Visalia on Saturday, November 13, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 211 N. Encina, Visalia, CA 93291 or to the donor's favorite charity.
