George William Koppelmann, 81, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.
Born on October 7, 1944, in Long Island, New York, George was the beloved son of the late George William Koppelmann, Sr. and Dorothy (Ostrowski) Koppelmann.
On October 19, 1968, he married the love of his life, Donna Lynn Hays, in Frankfort, Indiana. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership filled with hard work and devotion until her passing in 2014.
George is survived by his son, John Koppelmann (wife, Ellen) of Monticello and his grandsons, Colby and Brody Koppelmann of Monticello.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Fred L. Miller Memorial Chapel of the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home, Monticello, from 4:00 pm until the time of services celebrating George's life at 6:00 pm.
