I was born on a farm next to the Sloan farm; and Lloyd was my school bus driver. I remember visiting the Sloans and particularly "playing" with the toys the children had.
Mrs. Sloan was always so kind to our family.
I stayed "in touch" with all the family members over the years.
Condolences to the family, so sorry for your loss.

Dean, Don Jr, and Dan, you have my brother Paul, and I deepest sympathy for the passing of your wonderful mother. She lived such a full and wonderful life. I vividly remember when we were all younger hanging out with you guys on your family farm with your lovely mother and father Don Senior. They sure knew how to raise Amazing-men. We love you guys and I’m eager to spend some time with you soon. I would be up for the funeral on Thursday, but I’m in Nashville undergoing some rather important medical stuff. Requiring each day for the next six weeks. I look forward to seeing each of the three of you very soon back in Lebanon.
