Wayne Fincher Obituary

Wayne Fincher, 77, of Frankfort, Ind. passed away January 21, 2023 at Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Frankfort. He was born on September 22, 1945 in Daytona, Florida to Lendall and Kizzie (Jackson) Fincher. He married Dianne Smith on July 25, 1980 in Daytona and she preceded him in death on June 10, 2021.

Wayne attended school in Daytona, Florida and served in the United States Army Reserves. He worked in shipping at Frito Lay in Frankfort for 12 years, retiring in 2004. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed gardening, and loved fishing and crabbing.

Surviving are his Son: Damian Fincher (Claudia Garcia) of Lafayette, IN; Daughter: Carrie Lynn (Evan) Duvall of Murray, KY; and Grandchildren: Demytrius Fincher of Lafayette, IN, Brinnlee Duvall of Murray, KY, and Keagan Duvall of Pensacola, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services held. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist the Fincher family. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041. Please visit archerweston.com, where you may share a message with the family.
