Paul Ramser Obituary

Paul Andrew Ramser, 56, of Lochbuie passed away Aug. 9. He was born September 28, 1960, in Denver, to Robert and Nina (Nagel) Ramser. Paul graduated from Brighton High School in 1979.
Paul worked 36 years in the same building for numerous companies, starting with Storage Tek thru Oracle. Paul was a lifetime resident of the Brighton/Lochbuie area. The animals in Paul's life came first and included dogs, cats, chickens, burros, goats and even a potbellied pig. Paul loved his animals and he loved to fish.
He could fix anything and was very artistic. He piddled in fish taxidermy, painting and carving. He was a smart-aleck with a wonderful sense of humor who always made everyone laugh. Paul was a kind, caring man who came with a crusty exterior and a heart of gold.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Nina Ramser, of Brighton; brother, Mark (Beverly) Ramser, of Brighton; two sisters, Ann (Brad) Johnson and Diana (Damon) Ramser, of Brighton; four nieces, Megan, Tiah, Ashley, and Jennifer; three nephews, Robert, Oscar, and David; plus numerous other extended family members. His sister Julie Lucio (in 2017) preceded him in death.
Visitation and the Rosary were Aug. 16 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, which handled the arrangements. Burial was Aug. 17 at St. William Catholic Church in Fort Lupton. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Brighton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adams County Animal Shelter, 10705 Fulton St., Brighton 80601.
