Alice Lomax Obituary
Alice was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to spend time outside in the garden, visiting with family, reminiscing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lomax; daughter, Mary Alice; son, Keith; and granddaughter, Alyssa.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Pedro) Gutierrez, Jennie (James) Settle; grandchildren, Sabrina (Patrick) Chumley, Pedro Gutierrez, Jr., Tasha Green (Shane), Jennifer Green (Ferro); great grandchildren, Harmony (Javonte), Parker, Issabella and Penelope Gutierrez, Dawson Guthrie, Carter and Kendall Chumley, Isaiah, Travis, and Baby Bartlett; chosen granddaughter, Saylina Simmons; great-great grandson, Jakobe Pope; sisters, Rebecca Griffin, Elaine Martinez, Yvonne Gatlin, Nancy Jenkins, Elizabeth Hardin, and Rosemary Guthrie and brother, Robert Andrews.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Anaya, Shane Bartlett, Javonte Pope, Dawson Guthrie, James Settle and Kenneth Cannon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Adam Alterman, Dr. Junkins and Dr. Michael Naughton.
Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, especially Lacey, Katie and Kerri.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at Village Chapel.
