Ann Stearns Obituary
Survivors include one daughter, Sallie Stearns; one granddaughter, Meredith Stevens (Jerome) and her family; along with a number nieces and nephews. Gratitude is expressed to anyone who had ever did a kind deed, spoke a kind word or lifted a prayer heavenward in her behalf.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no formal visitation or memorial.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at the home today from 1 to 3 p.m.

Miss Ann was our neighbor for the past 34 yrs. She and my mother became friends, thought the world of one another. She knew she could count on my husband and I to help her anytime she was in need. We love you Ann, I know you're in heaven now and i pray you and mother will rejoice upon seeing one another again. I will miss the first flower that bloomed in your yard, you always brought it to me. We will miss you and remember you always. God bless and comfort your family in their time of grief.

I met Mrs Stearns when I worked at Baptist Hospital (now GRMC) .I remember her as being so kind, smart, helpful, not only to me but everyone. I also remember her being so proud of her daughter, Sallie. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time. I know this lovely lady will be missed by many.
