Carol Carlisle Obituary

Memorial service for Mrs. Carol Stoddard Carlisle, 53, Southside, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Crestwood Chapel. Father Gray Bean will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Carol will be remembered as a very loving person who never met a stranger and seemed to know everybody. She loved life and all it had to offer, from people to children to animals, she loved life in general and had a knack for bringing the best out of everybody. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, George E. Stoddard, and father-in-law, John R. Carlisle.
She is survived by husband Mark Carlisle, son Daniel McKinney, stepson Chris Thompson, grandchildren Alex and Katherine, mother Joan Stoddard, sisters Beth Stoddard, Melissa (Thomas) Finch, mother- and father-in-law Jerry and Jean Morgan and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Crohns and Colitus Foundation.
Special thanks to United States Marine Corps League.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
