Catherine Dillard Obituary

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Village Chapel for Catherine "Cathy" Garmon Dillard, 60, Gadsden, who died October 9, 2011. The Rev. Tim Warren will officiate. Burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin Ralph "Duck" and Birdie Frances Garmon; and brother, Richard L. Garmon.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Freddy Dillard; children, Lisa Dillard, Amy Miller, Chris Dillard and David (Tonya) Dillard; seven grandchildren; brother, Ray (Barbara) Garmon; brothers-in-law, Eddie (Julie) Dillard and Billy (Lesa) Dillard, sister-in-law, Jenny (Larry) Spurlock; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home. A reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hampton Inn in Attalla.
